Private Tutor Method

Dr. Akinci has developed the “Private Tutor” Method.  The project first started out of her desire to help her own son prepare for college.  Later it developed into a full-fledged method for all students who want to prepare for the SAT Math.

Private Tutor is an Innovative Method developed by examining several SAT Math tests, both old and new, over the years. The SAT tests are studied for their subjects, difficulty levels of each subject, the percentage of questions in each subject and difficulty level, scoring method, the test’s format and the areas that the students find difficult.

The method is tested on several students at different levels. Modifications were made not only to the method, but also to the teaching and homework material.

The method aims to provide the maximum benefit to the student in minimum time.

To pin point the student’s needs, the math subjects are divided into 50 different categories. The students are tested on each of these categories at 3 different difficulty levels. In our method, the student looses no time by studying what he/she already knows or by tackling math at a level not appropriate for him or her. That is how we can cover all the math subjects in a short period of time.
